Hi,
My name is Lena (short for Helena) and I live TX, USA.
Thanks to Nicky for maintaining this forum and to Lena and Igor for keeping up the Youtube channel.
After a watching a few Divine Truth seminars I was very happy to hear what Jesus and Mary said, because it seemed true. I had been seeking out spiritual answers for awhile but could not agree with the eastern philosophies of reincarnation and letting go of all desire. A heart based approach made sense! Since then I've been identifying addictions for four months. After I stopped feeding my larger addictions (difficult!), I noticed a lot of changes. My physical pain has increased, I feel pretty crappy or numb most of the time, and my partner and I are fighting quite a bit, most often specifically about Divine Truth.
I've also experienced a lot of doubt. Does emotional processing really work? Are Jesus and Mary really who they say they are? Why should I continue on this path when it seems to bring so many negative effects? My partner and I are separating..am I just running away from the relationship because my addictions are not being met?
I can cry with others, but for long when alone, which leads me to believe I'm crying for attention. I have not truly felt any emotions, although I feel as though I'm on the verge of tears whenever my addictions are not being met. I may know what my passions are (painting), and have shared them in the past with my partner, but now I feel pretty shut down to those as well. Some of the people on this forum seem to be having positive experiences with this whole process, so that gives me hope.
Thanks for listening.
Lena

I feel as though what you have expressed above is a result of resisting and denying emotions that have been triggered. Any time we experience physical pain, it is likely because we are denying one or a number of emotions that we simply do not want to acknowledge even exists (when truly deep down we do know, we just want it to "go away").lena atx wrote:After I stopped feeding my larger addictions (difficult!), I noticed a lot of changes. Doubt is a result of a fear of not wanting to act and if you think about it, being in a state of doubt is a way of almost letting yourself off the hook in terms of acting and it will keep you in the same (and sometimes worse) place. I also feel there is quite a bit of spirit influence going on here - I feel you are getting manipulated by some dark spirits who are preying on your fear of not acting. Every time they do this and you go into doubt, they gain a feeling of power and control over you which is their true motivations for being with you. There will be a specific cause within you that results in this. I feel this is the case because I've struggled with doubt A LOT in the past and I know how soul destroying it is remaining in this state and this stuff happened to me.lena atx wrote:I've also experienced a lot of doubt. I feel you are definitely becoming more honest with yourself as I would agree with your initial reflections about crying with others. Whenever we feel we are crying or close to crying when our addictions are not met, it is all facade and really it is coming from a tantrum of not getting what we wanted.lena atx wrote:I can cry with others, but for long when alone, which leads me to believe I'm crying for attention. Hi Nicky,
Thanks for the detailed, sincere reply. I've got a lot to work on. I think it's cool that you take the time to reply to so many people in the forums.

Hi Niky,
Waves back!
If you make a visit to ATX before you leave TX, hit me up through the forums, and maybe we could meet up.
