leaders in our countries

Post by Bex » Tue Sep 15, 2015 10:21 am

Hi guys, not sure if this is under the right topic but I have been finding it really interesting to hear Jeremy Corbyn - The new leader of the UKs Labour party speak so publicly about human rights and equality and previous government cover ups. The amount of people engaging with the fact that even the concept of immigrants is unloving etc .
I have wondered if having some people growing in love like AJ and Mary have led this effect as I just heard Australia have lost their right wing leader.

If anyone feels interested to, I have found reading Martin Luther Kings book and also listening to snippets of Jeremy Corbyn has heped me grow my own faith in what is right etc - especially King, he prayed and seemed to have a relationship with God that led to such incredible strength xxx

I don't really know the answer to your question but I think this topic is super interesting and exciting too. What is the name of MLK's book? I have often wondered what his journey has been like in the spirit world after his assassination.

I felt attracted by the subject of leaders in our countries.

This subject makes me both happy and sad, happy because I see that countries like Germany are fighting to improve the equality of their people and the people that lives around them. I am also happy that in the US, regardless of the recent racist problems that are still quite strong (in my own perception), they have been fighting to investigate financial frauds like in FIFA.

But on the other hand I see my country (Mexico) that while more people is being conscious of the importance of the basic human rights, I do not see that anything is improving with regards of basic human right, it actually seems like it is getting worst, some say that it is because a war between cartels but I am no sure.

It seems like our leaders simply does not care much about human rights, you might have heard of the "massacre of the 42 students in Ayotzinapa". This is one of the biggest/recent examples of many that are still happening, and I can sense that this is causing that more people become aware of the importance of human rights but at the same time this people is getting angry against the government. I think that there might be a bit of LoA going on here but I am not quite sure how to make things change.

Hi guys,
as I was reading your sharing(s), I thought to myself, especially what Alejandro CL said in his examples of Germany and USA at trying to be good, is it as simple as it appears to be? I personally do not feel easily that Germany or USA are really trying to be more loving. It feels like that are trying too hard to resolve issues in other countries before they have actually fully realised how much help they themselves need, to actually stop perpetrating the abusive justified treatments of other nations.
And I wondered if the criminal activities in Mexico, while responsibility is still on people who do these activities and maybe even on the leader of that country, I still couldn't help but to question if the USA is that innocent in relation to this situation in Mexico.
I am slowly becoming aware, through the teachings of the truth and small personal experiences, how the demand, that western societies have, contribute to the suffering, unhappiness, feelings in people of injustice, and while I can only speculate, which is not a good thing to do as I can be very wrong, but still, that perhaps Mexico's current frustration & violence within the country could be related to how much majority people in USA - Mexico's next door neighbours feel? And what I mean is the feelings of entitlement, bigotry, superiority and racism...

And yes, I also wonder of the effects on the country, if the leader of that country has changed to a person striving for love and God. It is hard to imaging what would & could happen to Mexico if their new leader was sincere in their heart to bring the change into the country... Would he/she last? Or would it even be possible for somebody to just appear like that, while the majority of the population did not want to love God's way, what I mean if a loving leader could even become a leader in the first place in a country where it is not a goal that people are striving for themselves. As at the moment it feels like the country can only attract a person, who is inline with a majority of the population of that country... Could it be any different. God doesn't allow anarchy even in the hells, so there must be a way of handling the situation in line with God, love all in the while honouring the gift of people
s free will.

So I know God would honour people's will, so then, looking at the world today it feels like there are some countries which are more ready for a positive change than others, so perhaps God would start from there, and perhaps other countries would start seeing the positive changes and would also start to want it as well and welcome the new leaders more readily...

Mary mentioned that she would like to do a new project, where she can discuss the issues of the world, I hope she get to do that, it feels it would benefit many of us to feel and understand these questions better.

After I have posted my thoughts above, while I totally meant what I said, as well as my excitement about the possibility of Mary's project etc... I thought to myself if I just allowed myself to keep on feeling about these questions & feeling the sin of my own denial of my pain & the sin of my total addiction to my addictions  Become repentant about my contributions in this world, I than would be a lot more open hearing the feelings of God on all of these issues.
I mean all of us have so many many questions & I can not imaging Jesus & Mary answering every one of the question each of us has, but God can do that surely.

anyways, I thought I would add this to what I said above.

Lena I feel you right are that it is not as simple as it looks, while it appears that they are applying laws that are more strict in certain areas (compared to Mexico), also I have seen that partially the problem of the drug dealers in Mexico is because of US high demand on drugs making it a very profitable business, and we are also partially responsible for letting this kind of things happen in Mexico and others and myself not doing anything about it.

I am not sure what it will take to make my country better, but I can think on one idea, if at least one or more persons become at one with God and show others Gods way of love then I feel that more people will chose to love. And I hope that myself and others in my country would chose to become this person. I guess that the most loving thing I can do here is to feel the emotions of frustration that I get and work on my feelings of lack of hope that things can get better and this can help me become closer to God.

Hi Alejandro,

I feel you are on the right track with just feeling your personal emotions and beliefs about the situation of the country you are in.

The frustration, the lack of hope for things to get better are often associated with some events in our lives personally, which support these feelings about general situation around, otherwise, we would have hope.
However if there were no events which happened personally to us to introduce the sense of hopelessness, and yet we feel it, than we may be making this emotion up, in order to not feel how afraid we actually feel about making decisions that are so confronting to everything else we know to be.
So to actually want to become the change you want to see around you.

I know this is a big fear in most of us, to break away from what is commonly accepted by everyone else, and take on and display the options of God in our daily personal life. Which means we don't need to wait for the complete perfected state to start bring the change about.

I thought to add this to what you have shared Alejandro,

Lena
