Title: Krakatoa: Volcano of Destruction (2006)

IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0791318/?ref_=nv_sr_3

Contributed By: Miranda Suryadjaja

The volcanic eruption of Krakatoa in 1883 was one of the most deadly in history. It set off a series of terryifying tsunamis, destroying entire towns and islands and devastating the coastlines of Sumatra and Java. The latest scientific and historical research combines in this powerful docu-drama to reveal what really happened in the build up to, during, and in the aftermath of the disaster, and suggests what could happen if the child of Krakatoa lived up to its mother's explosive reputation."

Title: The Impossible (2012)

IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1649419/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Contributed By: Tara

"In 2004, a tsunami hit Southeast Asia. This is a story about survival. There are many different themes here. Fear of being alone. A child of 2 or 3 was protected in a bed of plants with no scratch on him while most others had some sort of injuries while in the event which is probably a reflection of soul condition. Fear of the actual event. Fear of death of a loved one. Fear of not finding your loved one. Destruction of the environment. Compassion from the locals to all who were found who needed medical attention; different classes of people were given more priority over others. Very emotional and I am sure there may be more themes I have missed."

Title: The Road (2009)

IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0898367/?ref_=nv_sr_2

Contributed By: Mary Magdalene

"Looks at life after a global collapse."

**********************************************************************************************************************

Title: These Final Hours (2013)

IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2268458/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Contributed By: Mary Magdalene

"More about human emotions when facing major cataclysm."

**********************************************************************************************************************

Title: Knowing (2009)

IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0448011/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Contributed By: Mary Magdalene

"Again more of a human drama about emotions when facing cataclysm, it also depicts some dark human injuries on full display right towards the end.

I find that more dramatic movies that deal with people dropping their facade during or after a major earth change to be the most helpful for me personally in accessing my emotions about humanity and the potential of major earth changes."
